I LOVE Grapeseed Oil On My Omelette!!!

After making the choice to make smarter decisions about what I eat, I made the change to grapeseed oil. The biggest thing about this type of oil is that it is made from seeds of grapes usually after the wine making process. The seeds are recycled, you got to love that!!! Some of the other great benefits of using this oil is: a higher smoke point (so you can use it for frying), used to mix for dressing or mayonnaise (usually does not separate), has vitamin E and fatty acids, and the best thing it can be flavored.

Every morning I start my day with it! I love making omelettes in the morning. I love the flavor of bacon but I HATE the amount of fat and grease of it. So my alternative is grapeseed oil flavored with smoked bacon. You can get it here: Wild Tree Smoky Bacon Grapeseed Oil This is how I make my scrumptious omelettes:

I start off with about a tablespoon or less of my awesome grapeseed oil!!! Let it warm up before adding my eggs.

Before adding my eggs, I put them in a coffee cup to mix up (I don't know why a coffee cup but this is what I have done for a while). I also add my seasoning, usually a little garlic, salt, and pepper!! I usually use two whole eggs or I use two eggs whites and 1 whole egg. It really depends on what mood I am in.

After the oil is warm, I add the eggs. Let sit until the top has very little uncooked egg. I then flip it, usually try to use my spatula to assist to ensure I do not splatter my egg.

After flipping I add cheese. Let sit for a minute and then I fold it.

After folding, I let sit for a tiny bit longer, then transfer to my plate.

I then add a side of fruit. Please ignore my child bowl! I love the size of it.

The omelette has a smoky bacon flavor to them, which I love. If you are not one for a bacon flavor there are tons of other flavors. Here are some of the flavors that are featured by Wildtree: Roasted Garlic, Basil Pesto, Zesty Lemon, Natural, Butter, Jalapeno Pepper, and Hickory Smoked. There are tons of different flavors and the ones that I have tried are AMAZING!!
